Special Council Meeting

Council Chambers

The purpose of the Special Meeting is for Council to receive in Closed Session education and training – Onboarding of Newly Elected Officials; pursuant to section 239 (3.1) which provides that a meeting of Council or local board or of a committee of either of them may be closed to the public if the following conditions are both satisfied:

• The meeting is held for the purpose of educating or training the members,
• At the meeting, no member discusses or otherwise deals with any matter in a way that materially advances the business or decision-making of the council, local board or committee.

And to consider in open session:

1. The establishment of two (2) ad hoc working groups and to appoint members to same:
   1. Code of Conduct Working Group
   2. Municipal Planning Working Group
2. Bank Signing Authorities for the Municipality
